Join our kitchen team at The Boxwood Café! We are a busy café known for great food and friendly staff. We are looking for a reliable, passionate Chef to join or small kitchen team.

Full-time working alternate weekends, no evenings.
£14 p/h

The Role:

As one of our chefs you will prepare and cook dishes from our breakfast and lunch menus to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mange daily food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and fully stocked.
• Handle high-volume service during peak morning and weekend rushes with speed and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations.
• Assist with ordering and minimising food waste.
• Contribute ideas for daily specials and menu updates.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience working as a chef/ cook preferably in a café/ restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (food hygiene certificate a plus)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy services.
• A positive,collaorative atttude and excellent commnuication skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine passion for good food.
