On Monday 19th July 2021, England moved into Step 4 of the roadmap out of lockdown.
“COVID-19 will feature in our lives for the foreseeable future, so we need to learn to live with it and manage the risk to ourselves and others” from Gov.uk
Whilst most legal restrictions have been lifted, case numbers are rising both locally and nationally. The pandemic is not over and we all need to remain cautious.
What to expect in The Barn and The Boxwood Café
The Garden Centre and Café are both large and airy buildings. With doors and windows opened in this warm weather, they are well ventilated. We have lots of outdoor space for shopping and dining. If you would like to wear a mask whilst visiting us, you are very welcome to do so.
Hand sanitiser can be found at the entrances to both the Garden Centre and The Boxwood Café.
The NHS QR Code for customers using The Boxwood Café will remain. These can be found at the entrance to the Café and at the till. We no longer legally have to record this information so will not be promoting customers to do so. If you do not use the App on your phone and would like to leave your details on our paper form, please ask a member when placing your order.
As we all enter this new phase of learning to live with COVID-19, please be kind. Each of us have been hit by the pandemic in a way unique only to us. What one person feels completely comfortable with, another person might be very anxious. Each of us has different boundaries and limits. No one is right. No one is wrong. We are all learning to find our way through this together as safely as we can.
We will regularly review our approach and follow any new Government Advice that may be announced.
