Real Cut Trees In Stock Now at The Barn Oundle

Written by thebarnadmin

Real Christmas Trees in stock!

Our cut Christmas trees are now in stock at the Barn Garden Centre Oundle.

We have 3 different types of cut tree to choose from, but which one is for you?

Nordmann Fir
Perhaps the most popular variety of real tree nowadays. Wide at the bottom with a lovely symmetrical shape and branches full of broad, lush looking needles.

Talking of needles, the Nordmann’s biggest plus point is that it holds its needles much better than other varieties of cut Christmas trees. Needles that do fall tend to be soft, rather than sharp, making them a good choice for families with very small children or pet owners.

Norway Spruce
The Christmas trees we remember from our childhood. They have a wonderful scent that instantly takes you back to Christmases Past.

They are usually slimmer than the Nordmann Fir. They have thin, spikey needles, but these can be its biggest downfall. They drop their needles very easily. Being so sharp and thin, the needles can be really painful if you tread on them.

They make wonderful outdoor trees. If you really want to bring one inside, try to leave it closer to Christmas Day to bring it into the warmth of indoors.

Noble Fir
Considered one of the most handsome trees with its blue/ green foliage. It has a wonderful scent. It has good needle holding properties and more open branches making displaying larger decorations easier. A great looking tree, but trickier to grow so we have fewer to sell.

All our trees are grown in the UK and we only sell Premium grade trees.
